Thomas and Friends

We booked to take our boys to a “Day Out With Thomas” months ago and the day finally arrived. As they are both train obsessed they loved it and the Eldest even spoke to The Fat Controller after being initally starstruck, bless.

Slacking…

Yes I know, I have been slacking of late. It’s been almost a whole month having past without a single blog post being made. Life has been extremly busy of late with me trying to set up my new self-employed status, trying to start a new allotment, being ill (now getting better thankfully), starting a new qualification as well as looking after 2 children, 1 husband, 1 house and 2 cats. Just the usual really. Here are some pics from the last few weeks…

Captain Hook

We were visiting a friend yesterday and the eldest thought he would give dressing up a go. He modelled 2 costumes, the other being a police officer. Here we can see a fine Captain Hook.

Foxy

We had a little visitor to our garden, in the middle of the day unusually, so I’m guessing the poor thing was probably hungry. We gave him a few biscuits and some ham to keep him going. I did feel sorry for him as he only had three legs but he seemed to be able to get around quite well and scampered off as soon as he was done munching the goodies we gave him.

Our first sunflower

Waayyy back in April we ( I mean the youngest!) planted a bunch of sunflower seeds and this is the first one to flower out of the 3 that survived. It’s beautiful according to the youngest, but it’s his favourite word at the moment. He even describes me as beautiful. Of course he is right in that case ;-)

Supermarket Sweep

I braved the supermarket with both kidlets on my own today and thanks to a double seated trolley it wasn’t all that bad. Apart from the pulling, pushing, screaming, whining, nudging and general yelling that went on – and that was just me.
